As I write this VECTOR, the new YouTube channel I started back in February of this year, has just over 125 videos, 73 thousand subs, and 9 million views in the 10 months since this channel went live, and while I know that's still tiny by some YouTube standards, it's a lot for me, and it means a lot to me, and so I want to close out 2018 by thanking all of you for all of your support through all of this.

In late October, YouTube somehow chose to feature this channel as Creator on the Rise. I was shocked, to say the least. I gained a ton of subs only to lose most of them all immediately. I don't know if that was a general audience habit-clicking on a niche channel only to un-click just as fast, or some sort of weird bot-and-purge cycle on YouTube's end but it highlighted what I think I kinda already knew: The best and most real support comes from all of you, the community.

And I want to thank everyone for all the shoutouts, Jonathan Morrison, Jon Rettinger, Jon Prosser — wow, all the Jons are awesome! — Michael Fisher, John Gruber, Dave Wiskus, Daniel Bader, Lory Gil, Kevin Michaluk, Marcus Adolfsson, Jim Dalrymple and Dave Mark, Vyper, and anyone and everyone I may have missed because it's the end of the year and my brain is fried. And to Anthony, who's been helping me shoot all the videos for this channel and for a long, long time before.

But, most of all, I want to thank you for watching, for liking, for subscribing, for commenting, for supporting, and for helping me make each and every show better than the last. And you better believe that's going to continue into 2019!

Happy New Year and thanks again for watching!!
