Apple had a lot to talk about at its special event in Brooklyn today. Here are the biggest announcements.
iPad Pro
Apple has announced a brand new iPad Pro, with an edge-to-edge display and no Home button. It uses a new Liquid Retina display, like the one found on the iPhone XR. It comes in 11-inch and 12.9-inch configurations. And because it's ditched the Home button, it sports Face ID. Instead of Lightning, the new iPad Pro features support for USB-C. It's all powered by the new A12X Bionic chip.
Apple Pencil 2
Apple has also announced a new, completely redesigned Apple Pencil. It now magnetically attaches to the iPad Pro, automatically paring and charging when connected. The Apple Pencil now also features gesture support for customizable interactions.
MacBook Air
Apple has announced a brand new MacBook Air with a Retina display. It comes with Touch ID, as well as two Thunderbolt 3 ports and a headphone jack. It also has 17% less volume than the previous MacBook Air, while retaining a 13.3-inch display.
Mac mini
Apple has indeed announced a new Mac mini, which now comes in Space Gray, features four- or six-core Intel processors, and up to 64GB of memory. The Mac mini now utilizes all SSD storage for faster data retrieval and comes with a plethora of ports for expanded connectivity.
