Following the launch an iPhone trade-in program in Europe, Apple seems to be quietly kicking off an iPad trade-in offer as well. Apple Store locations in UK, Spain, and Germany have confirmed that they're participating. As usual, trade-in values of previous-generation devices like the iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, and iPad mini are up to Apple Store employees, and the credit goes towards your next iOS device.
These iPad trade-in programs were originally announced as a part of Earth Day and are already active in the U.S, while iPhone trade-ins have been around since last year. It's good to see Apple providing an upgrade path which also provides a clear path of for recycling, but we've got plenty of tips for anyone interested in getting rid of their old iPad.
